The key deliverable is to design and construct a three phase underground extra high voltage circuit between a new electricity substation in Adelaide’s CBD, and the Torrens Island Power Station, located some 20 kilometres north of the city.

The circuit is being installed to reinforce Adelaide’s energy supply to facilitate future growth. The contract was awarded in January 2010, and was completed in September 2011.
